At the Hotel Spencer, we've aimed to stay true to our 100 years of rich history, as one of Melbourne's iconic pubs. We've embraced the atmosphere a 1920’s watering hole once brought to its local working class population. Good old-fashioned hospitality is what we're all about. The Hotel Spencer is a relaxed bar and bistro, where anyone can feel at home and eat delicious, homestyle food.

We welcome international visitors, workers and locals alike, so workwear and tradie gear is always welcome.. come as you are! Music lovers often frequent en route to a Festival Hall performance, as well as sporting fans and their families for pre-footy drinks and dinner when Marvel Stadium is hosting a game. We're perfectly placed for pre and post-visits to such events. Bookings are limited on large event nights, so please call ahead of time. We'll always still do our best to seat you, even if it's at the bar for an intimate counter meal!

Our large selection of 13 tap beers, wines and boutique spirits reflect our great variation in clientele - we're sure to have something for you, and our knowledgable staff are always happy to assist. We frequently rotate our offerings, and place an emphasis on local and independently produced wares.
